The University of Oregon student body has played a major role in
sustainability efforts on campus. Groups like Coalition
Against Environmental Racism (CAER) and the Survival Center are actively working towards a
sustainable future.
Additionally, student-run conferences at the UO draw speakers and attendees from around the nation . The Sustainable Business Symposium and the HOPES Conference have become annual events that bring together ideas and innovation in sustainability.
