About

This dashboard provides data visualizations and context around the university’s sustainability performance over time. This information makes the university’s sustainability efforts transparent, showcases our successes and areas for improvement, and fosters benchmarking and goal setting.

Faculty and students are invited to use the dashboard for teaching and research. The dashboard provides opportunities for case studies and research using real world data sets, and allows users to explore the sustainability challenges UO faces. UO faculty and students are encouraged to download these data, play with them, question them, and dig into them. The Office of Sustainability welcomes users’ insights and feedback! Sustainability staff are also happy to present to classes or meet with faculty and students to discuss this data, project ideas and results, and general sustainability policies, programs, and actions at UO.

The Office of Sustainability partnered with the InfoGraphics Lab in the UO Department of Geography to develop the University of Oregon’s Sustainability Dashboard. For more information, contact Cimmeron Gillespie in the Office of Sustainability: cimmeron@uoregon.edu.
