About

This dashboard provides data visualizations and context around the university’s sustainability performance over time. This information provides transparency on the university’s sustainability efforts, showcases our successes and areas for improvement, and fosters benchmarking and goal setting.

A key goal of the Sustainability Dashboard is for faculty and students to use the dashboard for teaching and research. The dashboard supports campus as a living lab, providing opportunities for case studies and research using real world data sets and exploring sustainability challenges UO faces. To enhance this goal, this page provides the data sets behind the dashboard’s visualizations and graphics.

UO faculty and students are encouraged to download these data, play with them, question them, and dig into them. The Office of Sustainability welcomes your insights and feedback! Sustainability staff are also happy to present to classes or meet with faculty and students to discuss the data, your project ideas and results, and general sustainability policies, programs, and actions at UO.

The Office of Sustainability partnered with the InfoGraphics Lab in the UO Department of Geography to develop the University of Oregon’s Sustainability Dashboard.
